"I am so glad you waited," Terra said with the sweetest voice. "I wanted to come and give you a personal thank you."

Terra tilted her head sideways, observing the quiet Ray. He did not move. He was staring at Terra with disgust.

Yet she misread the hostility as something else, which made me nauseous.
