Jay Sean ft Lil Wayne in Down was currently blaring through the speakers in the party. I followed Zach through the crowd of people dancing to the song, and talking. He stopped by a table, pointing at the drinks displayed, “Do you drink?”

I shrugged, “Not a lot. Wouldn’t want to get wasted.” I said. He smirked, mixing a shot of tequila with lemon-lime soda and margarita.

I raised my brows, “You tryna get me wasted or drunk?”

He tipped his head back in a small laugh, “Try it. I’m about to burst your tastebuds.”

I narrowed my eyes skeptically at him, “How can I trust you?” I said as I drank a sip of the drink, feeling the taste graze my tongue.

The smile on his face closed up a little as he said, “You can’t.”

My eyes immediately shot up at him in stupefaction as I nearly spat the drink out before he burst into boisterous laughter. “You needed to see your face, bae.”

I glared at him, “Nice. You’ve got jokes.”
