SKYLAR'S POV:

Everything happened so fast that I did not really understand what happened. But one thing I was sure about. My sister was no selfish bitch or monster I had been told ever since we were born. Dad always told me that one day, I would see how monstrous and selfish Anika was. But what I had witnessed, it was completely opposite. I really could not think straight anymore. I was not sure who to believe and whom to not. 

Anika actually saved my life after the hellish behavior of mine with her. She never had anyone. No friends, no one in the family really talked to her except for Adam and our grandparents. For the first time in my life, I was feeling her loneliness. How lonely she had been all this time. When I would have held her hand, I just gave her cold shoulders like a bitch. It was actually me who was the selfish bitch, not Anny.
