SKYLAR'S POV:

Adam stepped into the room and I smiled. But for the first time in six months after our wedding, he did not smile back at me. He shut the door and came to the bed. He sat down in the bed, facing the wall. He did not look at me. He did not come to me, or did not wink at me. He did not even peck my forehead. It was pretty unusual of him to do so. Even though our marriage was quite arranged and at least I did not know that he was my mate. Even though we never really got along ever. But still, after our marriage, he was too different. He never raised his voice at me. He would wake me up every morning. Showering me with his kisses every single morning. And ever since he learned that I was pregnant, he became more loving and caring towards me. 

He would feed me with his own hands. He would take care of me. He even gave me massage once a week so I would not be in any kind of pain. Even though I had my wolf and he knew my pains would fade away. Still nothing s
