Chapter 13. Meet Your Mom

“Three strawberry frappe and three cookies.” I punched the take outs.

I’m here at work now and it’s eight o’clock in the evening.

“Zands, we’ll go first huh?” Claudette and Flora say goodbye.

“OK bye!”

After I got dressed, Andress approached me.

“You’re going home?” he slung the backpack over his shoulder.

I nodded. “Yes.”

Andress was kind. He was one of those who comforted me more yesterday when I cried.

Outside I was with Andress waiting for a taxi.

“So, are you okay now? Why did you cry yesterday?”

“Nothing.” I winced because I couldn’t think of a reason.
