Chapter 19. Ven
I want to mark this day. I can’t count how many times I’ve seen him smile now that I only saw it once in a blue moon then.
Inside those pair of dark mysterious eyes is also a soft Damon. I like him better that way. Not the one who used to be arrogant.
As I stared at his face and accompanied by melodious music from the stereo of his car my eyelids gradually became heavier and I finally fell asleep.
I don’t know how many hours I slept and snuggled when a hand gently caressing my cheek.
I immediately saw Damon’s puffy eyes and caressed my cheek.
It’s too close to me. He was leaning against the car window.
I was about to lift up but Damon kissed my forehead.
“Sleepy?”
“Not so…”
“Hungry?”
“No, I’m full of what we ate on the trip…”
“Okay.” he left and came out. He turned to open the door for me.
The smell of sea and the roar of the waves greeted us. A man in uniform approached Damon and took his car key.
