Chapter 42. Never

“Do you two have a problem?” mama asked us directly. Sunday and we visited mama at home.

Damon brought roses and pizza for mama. I could almost swallow the milk that Damon mixed for me because of what mama have said.

I blinked and looked at Damon. He just calmly drank coffee and looked at mama.

“Yes ma. But it will be fine. We will be fine.”

Mama cleared her throat and I bent down and turned the milk.
