Chapter 19. Liquid Substance
Agneta stood staring blankly at the white shirt and jacket that belonged to the man who had stained her five years ago. Pieces of stories in his past that he could not forget. Although now his hatred is not as big as it used to be because Regan's presence made his hatred a little less intense,However, now his fear has turned into a fear of losing Regan, the jewel of his heart.
Agneta turned to the little boy, who was so handsome and very similar to that man. Dave's words that afternoon came back ringing in his ears. Instantly, tears rolled down his cheeks, hoping all his fears would never happen. Agnes walked over to the bed and sat on the side of it. He stroked Regan's silky hair, which was soundly asleep.
"Never leave Mother. No matter what happens, stay by Mother's side," he muttered, crying silently.
That fear became even more obvious; she was afraid that Dave would threaten her even more and take Regan away from her.
