Chapter 130. Don't Go, Wingless Angel!

Ansel had been knocking on Angela's door for an hour, but there was no answer, and no one opened the door. Finally, he asked the hotel to give him a spare key.

Ansel froze in place as he saw that the room was a mess. On the table, there are lots of bottles of drinks and glasses. Angela was seen lying unconscious on the floor.

"Angela!" Ansel immediately approached Angela and pulled Angela's body into his lap. Ansel checked Angela's weak pulse.

Ansel took Angela's body and laid her on the bed. He smoothed the strand of hair covering Angela's face. He pulled up the blanket and covered Angela's body up to her neck.

"I'm sorry, Angela. I really am so useless. Now I'm actually making you worse off," Ansel muttered, feeling very guilty. A police officer should be able to solve this case without involving civilians.
