Chapter 131. Regan's Promise
Angela looked up at the night sky with a broken and empty feeling.
"Even you haven't fulfilled your promise to make me happy. It makes me the happiest woman," Angela muttered, dropping her tears again.
"Regan, I feel really tired. I'm tired of this feeling that I can only feel alone. Why don't you take me too? I don't want to live here alone." He closed his eyes as more tears streamed down his cheeks.
"Why did this have to happen to us?" muttered Angela. "Is it wrong if I only wish for a simple, peaceful life with you? And got a happy ending until we grew old together. Is my wish so difficult?" he muttered.
"I have to do without you. Hikz…" Angela crouched down, hugging her knees, and lowered her head. She cried uncontrollably that night, alone in the emptiness and unbearable pain.
