Chapter 23. Why Were You So Close to Men When I'm Still Around?
Right after his declaration, he went outside, and she used her full speed to catch up with him. They both arrived at the training field without talking.
Just like a dead candle with no fire, the journey was silent yet dark.
"Hey Anna! What took you so long?"
Anna automatically straightened her back when she heard Nathan's voice, a friend of hers. She genuinely tried to smile and walked toward a circle of friends. "Just an errand." She answered.
There were ninety-nine soldiers, including her, and after years of training, she found out that majority of them were actually good. She met new faces and characters, and Nathan was one of them.
She was actually pretty close to them, and they treated her like a sister. Although most of them were males, they were all well educated and respected her like she was one of them.
