Mom smiled as I said those words and hugged me tight.

“Thank you so much, Xavier,” she beamed enthusiastically.

“It’s okay, mom,” I said and smiled lightly.

Hera’s POV

“Hera, dear, would you like to go with me to the Maddox’s mansion?” Emily asked with a smile as she got dressed.

“Really? You’d take me there?” I asked enthusiastically.

“Yeah. That’s if you’d go with me,” she smiled and packed her hair in a tight bun.

“I’d love to!” I smiled ecstatically.

“All right. Let’s go,” she said and stared at me.

“But can I go dressed like this?” I asked as I stared at the strange clothes Emily had worn for me early this morning after breakfast.

“What’s wrong with it? It’s perfectly okay,” she smiled and took in my appearance.

“Okay, let’s go,” I smiled, and we both left the room.
