Xavier’s POV
My eyes snapped open as her lips were still on mine.
I didn’t know what to do at that moment– should I reciprocate the kiss or disengage from it?
Her lips were so soft on mine, and I really longed to kiss her mercilessly. But, I don’t want to take advantage of her naivety.
I pulled my lips away from hers and placed my hand on my thumping chest.
I felt really confused. Why didn’t I take the opportunity to kiss her as I’ve always wanted?
And why did she have to put her lips on mine?
