Rico walked into the boardroom at the Palazzo, his dark suit was spotless and without any wrinkles. He took confident strides and settled in his seat at the head of the table.

He locked his fingers and leaned back against his chair, a blank look on his face. Eyes moved across the room, scanning every single council member present at this urgent meeting that had been set. 

His eyes paused on a figure that sat directly opposite him at the large table. His jaw clenched and his head tilted slightly, but in under a second, his surprised expression had vanished.

Marco winked at Rico from across the table, his arrogant grin on his face as he chewed on a gum.

Rico pulled his gaze away from him, carefully hiding his anger. Why the fuck was that Bellini brat here? Only territory heads and council members were allowed in board meetings.
