Chapter 25. A Rag and the Capo
Calla watched the grin slip from Valentina’s face, but not entirely. She trailed her fingers on Rico’s shoulder as she walked behind him, then sat on the chair beside him.
“You need to teach your whore some manners, Rico,” Valentina said, a sultry smirk on her face.
Calla frowned at her words. Yes, she’s a whore but she didn’t instigate anything.
She waited for Rico to say something, but his lips were on his cup, dragging his coffee slowly, and typing something on his phone. He acted like he didn’t just hear what Valentina said.
She scoffed and rolled her eyes. Was this why he asked her to stay for breakfast? To humiliate her?
Too bad, she wasn’t a softy.
“Too harsh, Val,” The second guest said, making Calla look closely at him. She raised a brow, remembering where she saw him.
