“Do you want me to fire her?” he asked.

“You?”

Ares slowly walks toward me and holds my hand when he gets closer. He gave my right hand a warm, passionate kiss. As he opened his eyes, he looked at me, and something hit the core of my heart. His stare is something I can’t handle.

“Stop staring at me! Do you want me to melt from those stares?” I asked and mildly hit his shoulder.

He laughed as if I was joking. “What?! Stop laughing!” I said and continued hitting him.
