"Very well, Sir," Della replied shortly.

"And one more thing, you have to accompany me," Steve added.

"Huh?! But, Sir, won't you be using a private room? Why do I have to come?" Della asked, confused.

Steve took a deep breath. "Well, I just want to show them that I'm not alone right now. That you're by my side. I just want to tell them I'm doing fine."

"I see," Della thought to herself.

"What do you think, Dell?"

Della thought for a moment, "It's no problem, Sir. After all, I am your secretary. You don't need to hesitate," she finally said.

Steve smiled satisfactorily. "Everything will go well," he thought.

"Is there anything else, Sir?" Della asked before leaving.

Steve smiled warmly, "Thank you for everything, Della. I really appreciate your help."

"You're welcome, Sir. I'm just doing my job," Della replied with a slight bow.

"Seems like you're playing hard to get, Della. Let's see how much you value yourself," Stev
