"I've prepared new ones for you, Hun. You won't need to return to your uncle’s house. I don’t want anything to happen to you there," Fin assured her.

Rose was speechless. While she was relieved not to go back, questions about her belongings and where she'd live flooded her mind.

"Rose?" Fin interrupted her thoughts.

"Ah, yes... Thank you, Fin," she managed a smile.

Fin held Rose close. "What's on your mind?"

"Nothing, Fin," Rose replied, not wanting to burden him.

Fin smiled knowingly. He understood her worries.

Kissing Rose's forehead, he said, "From today, you'll live with me, alright?"

"Fin... I— You don't have to..." Rose hesitated.

"Do husbands need permission to have their wives live with them?" Fin teased.

Rose looked up, puzzled. "Husband...? What do you mean, Fin?"

With a sweet smile, Fin explained, "Don't open that folder until you've finished. I've registered our marriage. You’re officially
