Despite living together for a long time, from dating to marriage, Steve's work-focused nature often left Bella alone in their room until she fell asleep.

"Darling, you cooked breakfast?" Bella looked up at Austin, her face genuinely adorable.

*Wow,* Austin thought. *When did she become so sweet?*

Austin kissed Bella's pert nose. "What would you like for breakfast?" he offered with a warm smile.

"Hmm..." Bella pondered for a few moments. "I think I'll eat anything you cook," she continued, finding it hard to decide on a menu.

Austin laughed. "Of course, love. Shall we get up now?"

Bella nodded slightly, but her hand still clung to Austin's waist.

Eventually, they rose after twenty minutes had passed. Bella fell asleep again in Austin's embrace.

Austin observed Bella's movements, sensing something was off. However, his happiness overshadowed any concern. He gladly accepted Bella's affectionate behavior. Her changed demean
