Chapter 20

Without thinking, Edmond rushed to Imani and lifted her bridal style to her car where he lay her down in the backseat with her head resting on his lap. He ordered her driver to take them to the nearest hospital as her head was already bleeding.

The driver that caused the accident quickly swerved and escaped but George was quick to take a picture of his plate number. They got into his car and drove to a police station to report the accident and give the police the plate number of the perpetrator before calling Edmond to find out the hospital they were going to.

Imani was rushed to the hospital and promptly attended to once Edmond let the nurses around know she was involved in an accident. They wasted no time in calling a doctor and they started treatment on her almost immediately while the nurse at the front desk called him back before he could run off after them.

"What's the name of the patient?" She asked, typing away at her computer.
