Chapter 19

Edmond looked into the mirror as he buttoned his shirt and put on his wristwatch. The vintage shirt was a gift from his mother and the watch was a gift from Juliana. He missed them both dearly. After looking himself over and approving of his outfit, he turned around and left the room. He was met in the hallway by George who was also wearing a vintage shirt and trousers. They smiled knowingly at each other.

"You stole my outfit," George joked.

"This is just a coincidence."

"A planned coincidence."

Edmond chuckled. "Can we leave?"

"Certainly."

They exited the hotel and George led them to a sleek black car in the parking area. Edmond looked around for the driver and his eyes widened when George brandished the car keys in his face.

"You bought a car?" He asked in surprise.

"Of course not, I already have one. This is a rented car, for the period I am going to be here. I'll return it when I'm
