Jaxon, who was about to step forward and pull Talia back, was stopped by Cameron. His brothers, though sporting a worried look, shook their heads, indicating to Jaxon that they should let Talia settle her grudges. After all, they had heard about the fate Talia had to suffer at the hands of her fellow witches. They could only blame themselves for foolishly thinking that they were saving her by letting her stay there even after knowing that their mate was a witch in the Genesis Coven. Their supposed compassionate move pushed Talia instead to an abyss of more suffering. The least they could do to her was to let her have her revenge to her heart’s content.
