The moment the gigantic flapping wings of the Phoenix blew away the mist, unveiling the tragedy she caused, Diana Ritchell lost all her strength as she released a staggering breath. With an ashen face and tear-filled eyes, she unmounted from the Phoenix with trembling knees.
"No," she whispered, but for Diana Ritchell, she was already screaming inside. Shaking her head, tears continued to fall from her eyes.
