Chapter 162. Crisis III

After destroying the illusion array, a thunderous noise of stones and iron being forced open resonated. Crows screeched as the centuries-old tower wall was revealed foot by foot followed by the unopened gate being moved. The enormous chains grunted like a roaring giant in the dead of midnight. Piles of dead branches from the mountain-high wall that the werewolves right below had to move a meter away from the opening part of the wall.

Everything was in a state of crisis. Everyone of them felt them in their pores.

The Crimson Moon Pack’s beta, who saw his alpha still looking at the pregnant luna of the Blood Claws Pack, pulled the alpha’s arms forcibly so that they ended up stumbling upon the frosty forest floor. With the way the alpha shifted his solemn eyes at him, the beta knew that he was in deep trouble—but the plan would be nothing without their alpha’s lead. For the Crimson Moon Pack’s beta, they could unite with Alpha Soleyah’s team and then rescue the luna.<
