Quit? He must have said that so I could spare him. I didn't bother to move the sword, instead I watched him. I frowned, pointed the word at him again demanding an explanation.

"I'll quit threatening them. And I'll rebuild the ranch. Just spare my life," He said and I scoffed.

He must really think I was a fool.

"Trying to play smart again?"

" No, I'm not. You can trust me with this please," He pleaded. " I'll fix what I've caused. I swear on my head. If I don't start work there tomorrow you can come for my life next," He said again. I moved the sword away from his face, sending it back to its original place.
