Cassie Edwards’s POV

“So… any progress?” Jake asked.

“What progress?”

“You and Cole…” I turned to him and wanted to smack his annoying face.

“We broke up… you know it.”

“But you’re doing all this to get back with him. Are you sure you both have made no progress?”

“Jake, you’re too nosy,” I hissed.

“I was just… saying to cheer you up.”

“Cole is currently communicating with Oliver more. They’re doing their own thing and I can say Oliver is pretty reliable,” I said and Jake chuckled as he typed something on his phone.
