Chapter 45. The Theory

A helicopter flew by, and Isaac looked up and stared where it was going. Since the incident in East Tacoma five days ago, several choppers had been on patrol every day. Civilians were beginning to arrive at the base, making Milton more crowded every day. 

But there were no new Deformity troops. 

"Isaac, concentrate!" Faith shouted as he stood not far from Isaac.

"Okay," Isaac replied easily.

For the past three days, Isaac had been training with the other firebenders at headquarters every day. Faith often checked on each of the newly trained Deformers, and the trainer for the Firebender Deformer was named Fabio.

Fabio was from Spain and had been a Deformity for five years. His English, however, was terrible. He was stationed in Milton three months before the Orb suddenly opened and the aliens invaded Earth. 

And Fabio's instructions often left Isaac confused. Because of the man's language limitations.
