Chapter 38

Jwala’s POV

Vedika came to me to take care of me. Agni didn’t return even after five days. He didn’t come back nor did he call me. I felt as if I miss him. I thought to call him but stopped myself. I want him to prove that he is innocent. If I am not with him, only then he will try to prove his innocence, or he won’t care about that. I went to the kitchen to prepare tea for myself and heard Vedika talking on the phone. She smiled looking at me.

“Ya Agni, she is fine. I will take good care of your beloved wife” she said signaling me that it’s Agni who called her.

“Don’t you miss her?” She said putting it on speaker mode.

“Of course I miss her so much, Vedika. But, she is uncomfortable with me thinking that I was the one who sent those stupid photos to her family. I don’t want her to feel irritated by seeing me. So, I decided to give her little space to calm herself. Meanwhile, I am trying for clues.”

“Didn’t you find anything till now?”
