Chapter 87. Letting Go

Terrence’s POV

I swallowed hard as I realized what I was doing. I have to collect myself and save my wife!

It was hard but I checked her pulse. I was relieved when I felt her pulse before I carried her.

“WAIT!” Kreed shouted and took his jacket off. He used it to somehow stop the bleeding on Emery’s head. “I already called the ambulance. I-I’ll stay t-to check what happened.”

I nodded and ran away from there. My vision was still blurry but I didn’t mind. All I want is to bring my wife to the hospital and I was thankful that the ambulance arrived as soon as I got out of the building. I immediately put Emery to the stretcher and rode the ambulance with her. I was holding her hand tight while constantly kissing the back of it. Tears won’t stop falling from my eyes. I’m angry. I’m scared. I’m hurt. Who would dare hurt my wife like this?

I sniffed and silently prayed for her safety. Please! Don’t take her away. I need her. I love her.
