Chapter 19. High Heels

Dominic Arnold really went on a business trip for three days, he disappeared without a trace. Taking advantage of this leisure time, I decided to use the powers of a mistress, shopping for some necessary personal items.

I went for a walk in the mall and picked up a few pairs of ballet shoes. When I stopped by the high-heeled shoe store, my gaze faltered a little. I really like the glittery rhinestones, they look both shiny and classy. However, as a ballet dancer, I have to admit that my feet are very ugly, so wearing high heels really doesn’t look good at all.

I gazed at the designer high heels for a while to satisfy my own liking, then was about to leave.

Unexpectedly, the saleswoman warmly approached me and invited me to buy high heels.

“Pretty lady, would you like to come into our store and check out the latest high heels? The new collection of high-heeled shoes ‘Iridescent Crystal’ is released, a beauty like a lady should not be missed.”
