Chapter 24. Our Romantic Dinner

Sitting in the car with Dominic, neither of us said anything. The distance from the academy to the hospital is not too far. Half an hour later, my ankle was carefully bandaged, Dominic even bought more tonics to help my leg heal faster.

“Dominic, I want to stay a little longer to see my mother. Just go home, you don’t have to wait for me.”

“I’m at the hospital anyway, I’ll go with you.”

Dominic didn’t want to go home yet, so he accompanied me to my mother’s hospital room. A few days ago, the doctor called to say that my mother had regained consciousness a few times, but the time to wake up was not long. Just a few hours after waking up, my mother fell asleep again.
