Chapter 6. The Check

The bright light in my eyes woke me up from my long sleep. My mind was blank and completely in a state of confusion. I opened my eyes slightly, blinked a few times, then observed everything around me. A rather luxurious room, the mattress is soft, the curtains are half ajar.
