Chapter 198. Backstory

I was now standing by the door, ready to open it and rush out. I was ready to start yelling at the top of my voice for somebody to help me.

In fact, why was nobody looking for me? I know that it had been only a few hours since Josh had taken me, but didn’t Mark or my father try to reach out to me and realize that something was wrong and they were not getting me?

But honestly, I think I would have not been worried if I was in their shoes. If it would have been one of them, I would have just thought that they had needed space and so they had gone somewhere to be alone.

So yeah. But I also knew that it was going to get serious after a few more days. But the thing here was I did not think I had it in me to be here for a few more days.
