Chapter 206. Central Park

The elevator ride was quiet and I was not alone. There were two men with me, and they were in suits which let me know that they must work here or something.

When the lift came to a stop, the automated doors opened and I walked out. I walked through the lobby and soon, I was out of the building. 

I instinctively was about to go to the parking for my car and then I remembered that I didn’t have it with me.

My dad had taken it. So that meant that I had to take a cab. The initial plan was to see Mike and Detective Jacobs. 

But after meeting with Mike, I only had one goal for now, and that was getting the video from Mark. 

Gosh, how was I going to do that? He hated me and believed that I had cheated on him. He had moved out and I didn’t even know where he was.

I pulled out my phone as I stood by the bus stop. Tapping on the screen a couple of times, I called Mark.

I had a feeling he was not going to pick up, but he did.
