Chapter 9. Cold but Bold

“I’ll drop you here, you can walk right?” I lifted my head and fixed my gaze on him. He’s driving the car carefully and his dark eyes are focused on the road. I nodded softly and looked outside the window.

“I’ll just walk to the company. Besides, some workers might gossip around.” I stated as I was enjoying the view. Tsk! I’m really a liar. How can I even enjoy the view with this smoke pollution and noise?

I shook my head because of what I was thinking. I was about to say something when the car suddenly stopped. I quickly looked at him and realized that I’m in my planned destination.
