Chapter 25
I walked in and took a deep breath. I heard the door click as Harry closed it, and that is when I turned to look at him. He was already looking at me. I felt like sinking to the floor at that moment or jumping into his arms and kissing him passionately – there was no in-between.
I opened my mouth to talk, then I closed it again. I did this like three times. I was sure I looked like a blowfish or something. But I couldn’t help myself. I wanted to sound as elaborate as possible when talking to him. I wanted him to understand.
I looked up to the ceiling and uttered a small Hail Mary. When I looked at Harry again, he had an amused smile on his face.
“Are you just going to stand there, or are you going to actually tell me what you came here for?” he asked, and I felt like melting.
“I’m sorry,” I finally blurted out, and I watched the expression on his face change. It got... dangerous. I swallowed.
