Chapter 28

I felt rather than heard Harry get in behind me. It was weird that I had practically moved into his home. I was barely ever at my apartment. Even when I got out of work, the first thing I did was go to him.

“I missed you at lunch today,” Harry said, then placed a soft kiss on my neck.

I snuggled into him. He was tense. I frowned and turned around. Harry had that same stressed-out and tired look on his face.

“Harry? Is everything okay?” I asked, a little worried.

“Hmm? Everything is fine, Iris.”

I frowned even harder. What was Iris? He never called me by my actual name except when he was angry at me. Had something happened? Something I knew nothing about?

“Are you sure?”

“Just... just a shipment that went wrong. I will have to go and check it out,” Harry finally replied.
