The time ticked by eventfully.

My time was either spent studying or training with Rex, and now I could fight 30 mid-level rogues in less than two hours by myself, and it's all thanks to Rex's intense training.

Rex is really such a capable teacher, and it was all thanks to that stinky Oswald, who thought he had trapped me by ordering Asher not to teach me before the trial.

Luckily for me, the disappointment or disaster ended up leading me to such a fortunate discovery.

Rex towered over me domineeringly. "If you dared to lose later..." Although Rex didn't complete his words, his red eyes, which were filled with maniac, fierce light, made me shrink back in fear.

We had just gone through the evening of dawn training. Perhaps it was because of the trial that was to happen in the afternoon today; surprisingly, Rex permitted me to return to the hostel at 1:33 a.m.

“I won't fail, capisce?” I growled at Rex boastfully and bare
