Chapter 36

I turn in his arms after turning the stove off, and decide to talk.. He deserves to know what's happened today.

"Deacon rolled today." I tell him with a bright smile.

The look on Holden's face is priceless; he beams like the world is complete!

"Really?" He exclaims.

I nod, "yup. Sat there with him for hours trying to encourage him. As soon as I used my keys as bait, he did it. Shiny things always attract that boy!"

Holden grins and kisses my cheek before rushing to his son, hoisting him out of the high chair and kissing him repeatedly, making him giggle.

I love how much Dean and Holden love their sons.

It brightens up my day when I see them showing their boys such love and affection.

"Later, when the boys are in bed, can we talk?" I ask, finally resolving to sort this drama out.

"Of course baby. You and I, or Dean as well?" He replies, looking my way as he holds his son.

"I think all of us, as it's going to affect us all." I expla
