Chapter 14

Dominic and I didn't have a good relationship for a few days. Finally, I had no choice but to snub him because he would typically ignore me. I finished my duties, including cooking and cleaning, and then I went back to my room.

I was alone and alone in my room when I realized that the moment had arrived for me to move forward. As soon as Dominic returns home, I should discuss my wage with him. I couldn't wait any longer, and I needed to get away from the folks who had been causing me to worry recently.

Keith visited me one night, but his timing was off. Dominic was inebriated and in a bad temper. I couldn't understand Dominic's thoughts when I glanced at him, but his reactions told me he didn't appreciate seeing Keith's face in his house.
