Chapter 15

I should have been able to forget about the dreaded kiss, but I couldn't! So instead, I bemoaned my bad luck at being kissed by a man who was even eviler than Lucifer himself. Even though it wasn't my first encounter with him, I felt filthy and violated.

 I lost track of the number of times I washed my teeth and cleaned my mouth in the hopes of forgetting about the kiss. Then, when I remembered how I tried to return the kiss, I sighed at my folly, and Dom insulted me even more by laughing!

I was astonished to see a man standing outside my room the next morning. My eyes furrowed at the hefty man because it was my first time seeing him. “What are your credentials?” I inquired about him.

“Miss, I'm your bodyguard.” He responded.

What a pleasant surprise! Even though I was merely a maid, I was assigned a bodyguard. I screamed at the man and stormed into Dom's room. I wasn't ready to face him again after that horrible kiss, but I didn't have an option!
