The next day, my name was splashed across every tabloid as Ethan's or Ceo's mistress. I shrugged off the phony news since I was the woman he was associated with, regardless of the title.

“What if I hadn't spoken to you at the time? What if I ignored you, or if you ignored me?” I asked him while we were eating dinner at one of his family's eateries within the hotel.

“Can you tell me what you're talking about?”
