Lance insisted on taking me home, but I refused his offer. What happened between us was unexpected, and I didn’t want him to assume that it was special. It shouldn’t mean anything to both of them!

Since my mother was in the province, the unit was tranquil, and I suddenly missed her. After I closed the main door, I went straight to my bedroom to get some sleep. Last night was full of activities, and I didn’t get a night of proper sleep. I had to recuperate my lost energy!
