“Are you okay?” Crystal inquired. When she saw how shocked he was, she walked toward Kai.

“Three years ago, you, the girl from the woods…” Kai replied, and the shock turned into a frown. He will never forget the woman he was with when he was about to die.

Crystal looked at Kai very closely as he tried to remember what had happened three years ago. But no matter what he did to make her remember, she couldn’t. “I don’t know you, but I think you’re wrong.”

“Three years ago, when you were in the Enchanted Forest, men were after you—”
