That was all Diego said.
One word. One name. And suddenly the air in the room felt too thin to breathe.
“What about her?” I asked sharply, already stepping toward him. “Diego, don’t do that thing where you say nothing and expect me to understand everything.”
His jaw tightened. He looked at Kenna first, then back at me. “Seb…”
