Malory POV
Seeing the spirits of my last human, Susie, encounter with one another was indeed heartbreaking. It was taking a lot of me to see how this witch had come to destroy so many lives. Now, what was once a blessing is a nightmare for a curse. Hearing how confused they are only reminded me of how the souls honestly do behave in times of danger.
For centuries, all of my past humans have never come to invoke such a traumatic experience, such as of which is rough, and here I stand, witnessing the fall of my last human soul, because she didn’t want to become the perfect Luna.
In my heart, I always did realize that she didn’t want it to be a Luna but no one truly can choose what they have to become. Otherwise things would fall into chaos that I believe I don’t ever have to tell Susie that she’s realized it on her own, and it saddens me to say that all she can do now is help from the other side.
