The piece of cake almost slipped from the disposable plate by the sudden movement he had made to get rid of the amount of people who laughed and shouted words that meant everything, except congratulations. He leaned next to the window, looking with disdain at every crazy person in the cafeteria.
It was his birthday, but obviously, he was not the only patient who had been born that day. So, what was supposed to have been an age passage erased by the lack of interest, became a party where all the crazy people gathered in the cafeteria, eating the cakes and sweets that were served to him in droves.
