Chapter 40

Julie took a good look at the front of him. His face was stuck in a scowl, and now his hands were at his sides, balled up into fists. Then Julie looked over at Ryan to see what had him so shocked. What was he expecting, an evil monster? She saw the look of disbelief on his face and quickly realized that something was very wrong.

“Uncle Billy?!” Ryan asked Olozar. “Is that you? You’re Olozar?” Ryan stammered, and Olozar gave the kids an evil smile.

“Yes, Ryan. I was wondering if I would see you here. I knew that three children were traveling to try to find me, but I wasn’t sure if you were one of them. Honestly, I didn’t think you’d be brave enough to come after me. I guess I was wrong,” he said. “Unfortunately, I don’t favor my family. You must know that since I poisoned your mother and brother,” he snickered.
