Chapter 41

Julie and Ryan looked around the room, trying to find the potion. Ryan saw something. It wasn’t a bottle, but there was a small button on a wall that looked out of place. Ryan took a chance, ran across the room, and pressed the button. Upon pressing it, a secret door opened. They both ran through it and, in a rush, left the wizard sitting in the corner, assuming he would be stuck there and he couldn’t get out.

They went into the secret room and found a page from their spell book sitting on a small desk in a dark corner. The spell page appeared to be handwritten by someone. Maybe Olozar wrote out the antidote to his poison, Julie thought. When she got closer to the page, she saw that it had a spell to release a potion into the air so that it would inhabit every human who breathed in the air. Next to the page were two bottles, and they were labeled. Julie saw that they held the poison and the antidote.
