Devin’s POV

“How are things with businesses Gabriel? Any resistance left from owners to go to legal ways?”

I was sitting in my office with my right-hand man Gabriel sitting right next to me.

“No man. We took care of everything so now every last one of our previous businesses is put on legal ground.”

That was news I loved to hear.

Since I took over the mafia I have done everything to put us on the map as legal business owners and so far I’ve been doing a good job, and it was all thanks to Gabriel and Macy and all their support and help. Also my mother. She was working with Macy in one of our smaller companies. Its main production was makeup and everything related to it.

So it could one day easily cooperate with my family’s business which I hope goes as predicted into my brother’s hands before we come clean about us being alive.

There were still more things to be discussed but for the next few topics I needed to make sure the room was safe.
